Boat and Gear

We use a 17-foot Maverick HPX-V Carbon / Kevlar Varis, powered by a 4-stroke 70HP Yamaha. The boat poles in the shallowest of waters and provides the latest in technology and advancement in shallow water skiffs. It is the cutting edge of flats boats, giving a good ride along with near-zero hull slap while poling the flats.

What Kind of Gear Will We Be Using?

When light tackle fishing, we'll be using G. Loomis rods, Shimano reels, PowerPro fishing line, and D.O.A. Lures.

When fly fishing, we'll be using Sage rods, Tibor reels, Scientific Angler line, and hand tied flies.
